Café Kili is a small but growing Gourmet Coffee Café located in Tampa Bay, Florida. The Café specializes in African and South American coffees and teas. Coffee is roasted on-site weekly which ensures customers enjoy freshly roasted coffee whether it's by the cup or by the pound. The Kenyan born owners have extensive expertise in all aspects of coffee, with the wife having grown up on a coffee farm. The name Kili is short for Mount Kilimanjaro, one of the finest coffee regions of the world. New customers are in awe as they walk through the door and enjoy the ambiance of Kenyan culture highlighted by a large nearly-full wall image of Mount Kilamanjaro.

THE CHALLENGE
The Café Kili ambiance is pleasant, unique and visually appealing with customers routinely complimenting the warm feeling of Africa as soon as they come through the front door.
The owners desired a digital signage solution that was not just an advertising portal, although they could use the additional revenue stream. They wanted a portal which added value to customer experiences while they were having a meeting or simply enjoying a cup of the finest coffee in the area.
THE SOLUTION IMPLEMENTED
APEX Digital Imaging teamed with our local public relations partners, Vistra Communications, to design and maintain an extremely attractive digital signage solution for Café Kili. After determining the hardware and software requirements for this client, our design team went to work to ensure a solution which would enhance customer experience through creatively designed ambiance intended to accent the existing decor.
We also wanted to make this solution as simple as possible for the client to free them from any thoughts of an additional daily burden. The client simply turns the system on and off each day.
APEX and Vistra work together closely to ensure all graphics are designed to exceed client expectations. On a weekly basis, Vistra updates the nightly entertainment events, community calendar and other media content for Café Kili. Vistra employees simply log into a desk top portal once or twice a week to make the changes. We also routinely update the ambiance content to maintain the interest and excitement of regular customers. New potential advertisers simply contact the APEX-Vistra Team rather than adding that burden to the cafe owners.
